Gong Xi Fa Cai!

So it's Chinese New Year. And this is the second time I will NOT be celebrating it at home. And this year I won't even get to celebrate it over the weekend like how I did last year because I am going to go to Decatur, Illinois. Decatur! Of all places. For an a cappella competition. ICCA. That's exciting. But aiyah.

Gong xi fa cai anyway. Think of me when you sink your teeth into the jiu hu char. Or the gu bak koay teow. Or the kiam chai ark th'ng or the tu tor th'ng. Or the yummy new year cookies. :(
